George Muller penned these challenging words..."And is it not the case now that you begin the work of the day after having had only a few hurried moments for prayer, and when you leave off your work in the evening, and mean then to read a little of the word of God, are you not too much worn out in body and mind to enjoy it, and do you not often fall asleep whilst reading the Scriptures, or whilst on your knees inb prayer?"
TAKE TIME EACH DAY...TO READ GOD'S WORD AND PRAY!

Random Scribblings...Catching Up
With the advent of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram I've been lax in posting here on Pilgrim Scribblings. This blog was launched in November of 2004 and now with over 2,200 posts I find myself spending most of my time posting on Facebook.
This Pilgrim Scribblings site will always be close to my heart because I have shared so many glimpes of my pilgrimmage here. Fond memories of days gone by. I often log on and randomly pick out some previous posts and reflect on my journey.
So, please forgive me for not posting very often but allow me to update you on several things.
On January 27th, 2014 I underwent spinal fusion surgery on my lumbar 4th & 5th discs. Recovery has gone well and now, after 6 weeks, I'm back at the job I love at FRIENDS Peterborough.
Carol and I stay busy co-ordinating the Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Program. Now in our 5th season of play we have 4 teams with 60 players.
The Lord has been faithful and we continue to trust Him as we look to the future. He has provided for us in remarkable ways and we praise Him for that.
Please check out my Facebook page for daily updates but...I promise to post here from time to time. Thank you!
God bless you and make you a blessing!
