Recently I read the following quote by
Joseph Stowell in his excellent devvotional book,
Strength for the Journey.
Stowell writes, "When we see the 'school of adversity' that God enrolls all of His saints in, we may want to say, 'Thanks anyway, Lord. Do you have any electives?'"
God's way is not always the easy way but...it's the best way.
yes ... we DO know what joe is saying, don't we???? i'm glad that God still continues to teach us, even though we look for the electives!
