The citizens of Peterborough and surrounding area are mourning the loss of another of our native sons, Private Michael Freeman (pictured). Private Freeman was killed on December 26th while serving his country in Afghanistan. We are grateful for those, like Freeman, who have made such a sacrifice to secure and maintain the freedom of others.
Without minimizing the contributions made by our troops, I can't write this post without being reminded of the supreme sacrifice made by our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ, when He gave His life to buy our freedom.
We join the Freeman family today as they mourn the passing of their loved one and pray that the Lord will give strength and comfort during this difficult time.
I'll pray for the family! That has to be extrememly hard! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
