Mike Sweeney's Surgery

Today one of my best friends in baseball, Mike Sweeney of the Kansas City Royals is undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his knee. Mike went on the disabled list two weeks ago and has been plagued with injuries in recent years.

He is such a solid witness for Christ and an encourager to his teammates. Please pray that the surgery will be successful and that he'll be able to return to the lineup earlier than expected.

    Oh David..I never knew that he was going for surgery today.
    I hope all went well and I will now have to pray for his speedy recovery!!..from Terry
