Dear friends:
Thank you for your prayers for us while we were away in Connecticut on the weekend. We arrived home safely tonight (Sunday) after having a wonderful time away. The outreach at Quinnipiac University went very well. I'll post pictures tomorrow. My nephew Bud (pictured with me) is having an incredible impact on the campus. What a blessing to be with him!Today we battled some bad weather (wet snow and strong winds) as we drove from Springfield, MA across to the New York border. The Lord brought us safely through and we praise Him for that.
More on this later but I just wanted to let you know that the trip was very profitable.
Note: Please pray for me this week as I seek to comfort and encourage a family who lost a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother to the ravages of cancer. Winston Burford went home to be with the Lord he loved early this morning. I had been visiting him regularly for the last few weeks. I'll be conducting his funeral later in the week. Please pray especially for his wife Norma and their two married daughters Christine and Beth and their families. THANK YOU!

I am so sorry for what Mr. Burford's family is going through now.
Even though it is a comfort for the family to know where he is, it is still a sad thing for his loved ones...I will pray for them..
