Hi friends! I'm sitting in the lobby of a hotel in Buffalo, NY writing this post. Posting will be sporadic for the next few days while we're getting a much-needed break.
Dear David...I hope that you don't mean a break from us because we will still be bothering you with comments.
Bernie tells me that you better be careful of the water build up in Buffalo. He says the Buffalo foot ball team lost so there will be lots of crying going on there just like there was when the Sabres lost the Stanley cup last year!! hee hee...Lake Erie is really on the rise!
Seriously though David, I am sure that all of your blogging friends will be praying for you and wishing you a real good rest!!....From Terry
Hopefully, your 2007 is getting off to a fantastic start. My prayer is that you will be blessed by God with many opportunities for fruitful service in the Lord's kingdom in the new year.
I wanted to let you know that I've listed your blog on my blogroll at The Spiritual Oasis' web site. If you have additional blogs that you would like to see listed or would like to recommend others, please send word to: contactus[at]thespiritualoasis.org.

Hope you are enjoying the (much deserved!) vacation! I’m going to be selfish and say hurry back soon though- I miss your posts! I thought of you and your ministry when I was reading the paper today. The Ottawa Citizen ran an article on sports ministry in the NFL. I know you work mostly with hockey players, but I think you will still find the article interesting. I don’t know if you can access all the sports section online or not, but the article is titled “Turning to God on fourth-and-long”. I cut out the article; it was quite interesting! Enjoy the rest of your vacation. Praying for your safe return-
Dear David...I go along with Luaren-mary, hoping you ARE enjoying you vacation but I will be glad when you are back too. What selfish creatures we are, eh Pilgrim David?
Sometimes in the good things in life, we say we didn't really miss them until they are gone but I have never thought this way about you or your excellent posts!! ALWAYS eager to read them!!
Lureen-mary is doing a pretty good job though. She wrote a encouraging post on her site, "Laurens's Life" that almost seems like it would fit nicely into your "Barnabas Blog"...
God's blessings on you and Carol as you are away...From Terry
