Here's a good shot of my wife Carol taken at the Renaissance Hotel (formerly the Skydome Hotel) in Toronto.We were there last week with Matthew and Nathan to have lunch and spend time with John & Kelly Olerud and their son Garrett.
The Oleruds were back in town as part of the Blue Jays' "Flashback Fridays" promotion this season. Each Friday the Jays fly in a former player to sign autographs and bring back fond memories.
It was great to spend time with John and Kelly. Matthew, Nathan and Garrett had a blast, including a pillow fight in the Olerud's hotel room. John took off to do some interviews and Kelly looked after the kids while Carol and I went over to St. Michael's Hospital to visit our niece Holly Edwards.
