Last Friday David Shantz gave me a parting gift following the Peterborough Petes Annual Awards Luncheon. He very kindly gave me the goalie stick (see picture) he had used in Moncton, NB during the Memorial Cup.
Almost 10 years ago Zac Bierk (see photo) gave me a goalie stick as well, the last one he ever used as a Peterborough Pete.This year was our 10th season of ministry to the Petes. I now have a stick from two great friends, signifying these ten profitable years of coming alongside young hockey players.
I pray that the seed that's been sown will yield an abundant harvest in God's time.
