One of the blessings I enjoyed during my 29 years of ministry with Baseball Chapel was the opportunity to visit some very historic churches in America.This photo is Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. Dr. James Montgomery Boice was preaching on the Sunday that I was privileged to attend.
Dr. Donald Grey Barnhouse was a previous pastor at Tenth.
Dr. Philip Ryken presently ministers at Tenth.
While visiting Boston to see the Blue Jays play the Red Sox I had the pleasure of visiting historic Park Street Church (pictured on the right) on Boston Common.
The church was pastored at one time by Dr. Harold J. Ockenga, a committed evangelical.
Park Street Church is known for its emphasis on World Missions and is a favorite of many university and seminary students in the Boston area.
