What a great morning so far! I had breakfast with George Verwer, founder of Operation Mobilization. His ministry and writing have had a profound influence on me over the years. We walked back to my office after breakfast. What a privilege to know his heart which mirrors God's heart. 
Actually I've never met George Verwer. I took his book, "Out of the Comfort Zone...A Compelling Vision for Transforming Global Missions" with me to breakfast. Another of his books, "Revolution of Love" is a powerful challenge.
As Ziggy in his comic strip once said, "Books are friends that you can read."
Thank God for the printed page! I'm grateful for godly men like Mr. Verwer who have championed world missions in unique ways.
