Several years ago I had the privilege and pleasure of playing the piano in Nashville, TN at the Grand Ole Opry.What a thrill! Vince Gill, among others, was on the program that night!
Now before you get too excited (maybe you're not excited at all), it was on a Saturday afternoon that I played...not in the evening.
We had just finished a tour of the Opry and we were all on stage. When the tour guide told us that we were going to sing "You Are My Sunshine" I asked if I could accompany the group on the grand piano. She answered in the affirmative and I played away.
Maybe some evening I'll make the big time. 'Til then I'll just dream along.
